Read moreLong-term observation is a possibility by maintaining environmental conditions constant. The Temperature Control Unit deliverable with the ZebraBox system allows to continuous control over experimental conditions. Temperature can be controlled from 20°C to 30°C. The system is equipped with an UV-C water clarifier to avoid algae and bacterial build-up.

ZebraBox can be equipped with an additional module to create reproducible and standardized sound and vibration stimuli, the vibration module.

Read moreThe Zebrafish Aggression Box – ZAB is a brand new solution developed by ViewPoint in collaboration with Dr. William Norton team (University of Leicester) to monitor aggression in one-month-old juvenile zebrafish.
Our videotracking technology has been combined with a compact and practical cubical (50 cm each side) where up to 4 zebrafish can be placed and analyzed simultaneously. The system is lit with infrared for a perfect detection of the zebrafish.
The software detects fish aggression based upon the reaction of the fish facing its own image towards a mirror. It can automatically quantify zebrafish aggression and locomotion.
Targeted applications :
→ Automatic quantification can detect alterations to aggression levels caused by drug treatment or mutation.
→ This solution is relevant to screen for drugs that decrease zebrafish aggression.
Advantages :
→ Validated software by comparison to manual quantification of behavior.
→ Scalable system : ability to monitor an unlimited number of fish, allowing you to speed up your test. Indeed, you can work with as many cabinets as you want, which are connected to the same system.
Outputs :
→ Aggression Index : aggressive behavior pattern/intensity.
"The development of the Zebrafish Aggression Box has been supported by the European Commission Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement n°602805"

Read moreExperimental device supply allowing to test active avoidance on larvae or adult zebrafish, with visual, sound and electric stimuli.
Dimensions of the tank for adult :
Length = 30 cm, Width = 18 cm, Height = 15 cm
Each tank will have 2 compartments of 15 cm length separated by a removable wall equipped with a mouth of a shape and dimensions to define before manufacturing.
The 2 compartments will be equipped with stainless steel plates placed at the bottom and at the surface enabling the electric shocks to be delivered.
Dimensions of the tank for larvae :
Length = 129 mm, Width = 86 mm, Height = 28 mm
The tank is divided into 8 compartments (2 rows of 4), for up to 8 larvae at the same time. One compartment is sized 34*29 mm with two areas of 14 mm wide.
Visual and electric stimuli will be controlled by the ZebraLab software.
The complete test device will be composed of :
A tank as described above,
An individual rack resistant to the shock generator,
A voltage-controllable generator for the electric stimuli,
An independent visual stimuli system for each compartment.

Read moreThe optomotor response of zebrafish is a reflex to stabilize the body position in a moving environment Optomotor response measurements are done using a moving grating as stimulus that is presented by our sytstem. A fullscreen squarewave grating, which moves left- or rightwards. The user can adjust speed, contrast, number of stripes.
ZOMR is a component of ZebraLab and ZebraBox and allows the automated observation and tracking of zebrafish larvea visual behavior in a freely moving environment. In a few steps, start monitoring the visual-motor response inside Petry dish, 6 wells Microplate, or up to 10 corridors /alleys.

Read moreOptogenetic is a breakthrough technic in neurosciences research that is quickly adopted all around the world.
Researchers naturally asked ViewPoint how to implement such a tool for zebrafish larvae ; leveraging the advantage of the transparent nature of embryos and high-throughput capabilities of this model.
We have been working closely with researchers' teams across the world to bring a straight forward approach to high-throughput optogenetic screening. Thanks to expert teams of researchers at IGF Montpellier, Icrea Barcelona and Berkeley California, we are proud to bring you the new ZebraBox Revo add-on for Optogenetic & Opto pharmacology.
Thanks to the versatile nature of ZebraBox Revo, our community of users can easily adapt this technology to their current system and make it part of their pipeline.
