Lisa Barnhill is a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Lab of Jeff Bronstein, UCLA. The lab investigate mainly on Parkinson’s Disease (PD), using cell models and a newly developed zebrafish model. Parkinson’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder leading to severe disability, whose causes are not completely uncovered. Lisa Barnhill currently works on the impact of air pollution and the link to Parkinson’s disease. Working on both larvae and adult zebrafish, the locomotor behavior of the zebrafish is monitored with the ZebraBox or with the ZebraCube.
